About WebISD
WebISD is a browser-native loudspeaker enclosure design tool inspired by the long-loved Windows program WinISD. It runs entirely in the browser: no install, no account, no data leaves your machine.
Math & conventions
- SPL is reported anechoic, 2π half-space, at 1 m.
- Air properties: ρ = 1.184 kg/m³, c = 345 m/s (20 °C, 1 atm).
- Sealed alignment: Qtc = Qts·√(1+α), Fc = Fs·√(1+α), α = Vas/Vb.
- Vented alignment: 4th-order Thiele/Small with assumed leakage Ql = 7.
- Port tuning derived from geometry with end correction (0.85 r flanged + 0.61 r free).
- Excursion uses the cone displacement transfer; port velocity is computed from cone-equivalent volume velocity.
Roadmap
- Saved projects synced to your account (Lovable Cloud).
- Bandpass enclosures (4th & 6th order).
- Multi-driver configurations and series/parallel wiring.
- Export designs to PDF and CSV.
- Custom user driver presets.
